Frequently asked questions
ADHD life coaching is a collaborative process where we slow down, look beneath the surface, and figure out what is really getting in the way. Instead of quick fixes or one-size-fits-all strategies, we focus on building self-awareness, uncovering your strengths, and experimenting with supports that fit your brain and your life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, clear, and balanced in how you move through each day.
While therapy focuses on emotional healing and diagnosing/treating mental health conditions, ADHD coaching emphasizes practical strategies to improve daily functioning and achieve personal goals. Coaching is forward-focused and goal-oriented, whereas therapy may delve into past experiences.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling to manage daily life coaching may be a great fit for you. You can schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss your questions and concerns with me.
Our time working together starts with a complimentary 25-minute consultation call. This call allows us to get to know each other, discuss your needs, and ensure we're a good fit for coaching.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll begin with a 90-minute Intake & Planning session. During this session, we'll dive deeper into you and your desires with coaching.
Afterward, we'll start the coaching process! Each week, you’ll have the opportunity to choose the areas you'd like to focus on, ensuring the sessions are tailored to your unique needs.
It depends! Just like no two ADHD brains are the same, no two coaching journeys look exactly alike. Some clients work with me for 2–3 months and feel ready to move forward on their own. Others prefer longer-term support as they continue building awareness and practicing new tools. My goal is always for you to feel confident coaching yourself outside of our sessions. After a couple of months working together, some clients choose to shift into a once or twice a month maintenance plan.
We will start the session with you sharing what is on your mind and setting a goal for the session. We will then partner together and deep dive into your topic through questions, reflection, and listening. We will work together to help you explore strategies and techniques that can help you move toward your goals.
